    Team Ms Ashwini Bilagi Ms Ashwini Bilagi is a consultant in Fetal Medicine and Maternal Medicine at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust (SWBH). She is the clinical lead for the management of multiple pregnancies and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. She is in charge of multidisciplinary meetings for high-risk obstetric cases at SWBH. She is the research lead for obstetrics for the trust and the senior academic tutor for Aston Medical students. She is an external reviewer for the perinatal mortality and morbidity for our local maternity and neonatal network. Her present positions have enabled her to be a senior member of a team that provides the full range of specialist services within maternity care whilst also having an active involvement in teaching and research. She is the research lead for Obstetrics and has supervised an MD student from Aston University. She has extensive experience in the management of multiple pregnancies, complex Fetal medicine conditions and high-risk obstetrics. She maintains a keen interest in teaching and regularly conducts simulation training and OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) sessions for medical students.
